Chiang Mai City Life is a newspaper that has a lot of information about what’s on in Chiang Mai and some local news.

ANZWG Bangkok Guide – a comprehensive and invaluable directory for expats living in Bangkok – order from Asia Books or DCO (1,000 baht). It’s revised every two years. The next edition should be available towards the end of this year (2018).

Chiang Mai Directory – business listings, street maps and a resource of information for the Chiang Mai area – can be purchased from the publisher direct (200 baht). It’s already 2 years out of date – and of course shops and businesses are opening and closing all the time, but it’s still an invaluable starting point for settling in Chiang Mai.
